Little Gorillas
(ages 5-6)
A playful and confidence building start to martial arts. Little Gorillas learn foundations of Goju Ryu Karate and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in a kids only, safety-first environment that nurtures curiosity, movement, and friendship.

- Movement basics: safe falling, rolling, strong stances, and coordinated footwork
- Awareness and safety: age appropriate lessons on personal boundaries, listening skills, and situational awareness
- Character skills: confidence, empathy, resilience, and leadership guided by our TROOP code of Teamwork, Respect, Ownership, Overcoming Obstacles, and Perseverance
- Short, structured classes with clear routines and upbeat coaching
- Partner drills that promote teamwork, communication, and respectful interaction
- Sport specific games that build skills while keeping every session fun
- Physical: balance, flexibility, hand and eye coordination, core strength,and agility
- Mental: focus, self control, following instructions, and sticking with challenges
- Social: making friends, sharing space and equipment, and encouraging teammates
- Positive and safety first instruction in small groups
- Simple goals and fun milestones that celebrate progress and effort
- Multiple class times offered six days a week for busy families
Outcome
Your child will finish each class a little stronger, more confident, and more connected. They will build habits that support lifelong leadership and respect while developing a love for movement and learning that carries into school and home.
